An excerpt from Noah's prayer a couple of weeks ago: "...and please help me to be kind. And bless me and Zoe to stop fighting, until the day after Christmas..." Yep, totally serious. So funny I couldn't help but chuckle, so then he added "and forever". Yeah.
Jonah's new excuse for everything is "Jesus told me to". I have no idea where he picked this up. He was in the middle of a cartoon marathon when I came in and told him he couldn't be a couch potato all day. He told me, "Yes I can. Jesus told me to be a couch potato." Jesus has also told him to run through a crowded parking lot (at night, I might add), be mean to his sister and many other things.

I'm going to use that excuse next time I need one. Sounds great!
Ah, the sweet innocence of children. I love it.
I have a smart alec at my house too - but she hasn't gotten this creative yet. too funny.
This is why we keep 'em around. They are such entertainment! I don't get much of this at home right now. Simon is too young to say funny things and Emmy and Connor are too old.
Ok this is so hilarious! I lvoe it!!
That is hilarious! Kids are so funny! Those are the moments you just have to laugh.
