Yep...We're Square

Well, we're officially square. I took the kids last week for our annual visit to Arctic Circle (yes, literally). The kids were able to get their "square pumpkins" that included a Halloween flashlight. Last year we waited until the end of the month and they were all out, so we got an early jump on it this year.

I thought I would be a really fun mom and actually take the kids inside to eat. However, I think my plan wasn't as brilliant as I thought. Once we were in I was overcome with cootie phobia and spent the whole time telling them not to touch anything and passing out hand sanitizer. And the playland...forget about it. We sat as far away from it as possible as not to tempt them.

All in all, they didn't seem to mind my neurosis and had a great time. Besides, they got their Halloween flashlights and nothing else really mattered.
