School Days, School Days

It's official: School started on Thursday. I am happy to report that the kids LOVE their teachers and have great classes this year. We are still adjusting to the different time schedule, but we'll get there. I am really going to miss having my kids around. Poor Jonah is going to be so lonely, but there are some things that I am looking forward to:
  1. Routine. It will be so nice to get on a schedule again. Hopefully we can get back to practicing our music, having regular FHE, etc.
  2. No Fighting. Seriously I am so sick of it.
  3. No Tattle Telling. Too bad you can't make money at it because my kids could make a fortune!
  4. Nap Time. Jonah still naps, so I may actually have a quite couple hours during the day to get things done (work, blog, etc.)
  5. School Programs. I love the cute programs they put on. They also memorize and recite a lot of poems, sing songs and such when they participate in Devotionals.
  6. Autumn. Oh I love this time of year! The leaves, cool air, sweaters...I love it all!

When did your kids get so big. Noah looks so grown up! I love their cute uniforms. I'm so with you on not missing the fighting and tattle telling. I'm pretty sure my kids could give your kids a run for their money on that one!
