Life is Sweet

Last week I had the opportunity to go on a fun field trip with Zoe. We took a tour of Sweets candy company. They are the largest producer of saltwater taffy in North America (and possibly worldwide). Get this...they produce over 10 million tons of taffy every year! Wow! What does that say about us? And did you know it takes a week to make a batch of jellybeans?

Zoe had her first dance competition on Saturday. It was a really great experience for her, and a definite learning experience for me. I was surprised at how much she enjoyed it. (No, I was not in charge of make-up....whoa...) Way to go Zoe!
