What a crappy day!

For some reason, Jonah decided he didn't want to wear a diaper this morning. Chris decided to let him run free and told him to let us know if he needed to go "potty". He has told us before, so it wasn't totally unreasonable.

At any rate, I started watching the clock. I decided I would take him and try at a certain time. I kept a close eye out. Just a couple of minutes before the designated potty time, I looked over to see Jonah walking down the hall, in a slow and awkward manner.

Yikes! I ran over and immediately could sense (or smell) what was happening. Then I looked over to see a small mass on the floor. Oh no! Could it be? Luckily it was on our wood floor; I can handle that. I swooped him up and headed straight for the bathroom. As I proceeded to undress I noticed the mess (which encompassed his shorts, hands, all down his legs, etc.) seemed rather extensive compared to the mass I found.

I decided I better go on a "treasure hunt". I retraced all of his steps, then there, on the carpet was the booty! Oh wait, not just one on the carpet, but two much larger masses on the carpet. Not to mention all over Zoe's uniform (that will teach her not to leave her stuff lying around!). No...please...not the carpet! How am I supposed to get poo out of carpet? I'll spare you any more details, but I eventually got it all taken care of.

Then tonight I went into the bathroom in the hall and found a pair of Noah's underwear on the shower. Hmmm... I cleaned the bathroom earlier today and they were not there. Noah hasn't had a bath yet tonight, so that's not it. I decided I better go straight to the source.

I called Noah in and asked him to explain the interesting placement of his Hanes. He just smiled, then proceeded to tell me, "when I was outside, I farted so hard..." That's all it took! We laughed and laughed until I almost had an accident in my pants. All I could think about was Along Came Polly when Sandy "sharted".

Lastly, walking down the hall tonight I spotted a little something. No...please no...seriously...it's...it's...ahhh, just a raisin! :)
